Authority Engine: the full machine, run for you
One weekly interview becomes daily publishing, managed DMs, and a pipeline report — the tier most founder-led practices choose.
The tier most clients choose
Authority Engine is our hero tier because it's the complete machine. Presence is the proof-of-channel tier — lighter cadence, three profiles, monthly reporting, no inbox management. Category King is maximum coverage — heavier volume and X/Twitter included. Authority Engine sits where most founder-led B2B practices actually live: enough publishing to compound, enough engagement to start conversations, and inbox management so no conversation dies unread.
Everything runs on one input: your weekly 30-minute interview.
What's included, in concrete terms
- Weekly 30-minute founder interview. A strategist interviews you every week — your client conversations, your objections, your contrarian takes, your frameworks. This is the raw material for the entire interview-to-content engine: AI-assisted drafts, mandatory human quality control, and your approval before anything publishes.
- Daily publishing across your profiles. Content goes live every business day, distributed across the profiles that reach your buyers. Posts, carousels, short updates, and repurposed interview clips — all in your voice, all approved by you.
- Proactive engagement. We don't just publish; we participate. Daily engagement on posts by your ideal clients, referral partners, and industry voices — comments that start conversations instead of "great post!" noise.
- DM and inbox management. Incoming DMs triaged and answered, comment threads worked, warm conversations advanced toward calls. Response SLAs: 2 business hours for DMs, 4 business hours for comments, Monday–Friday 9am–6pm ET. This is the capability most agencies skip and the one that most directly produces booked calls — see how engagement becomes pipeline.
- Pipeline reporting. Monthly report by the 3rd business day: content published, reach and engagement that mattered, conversations started, DMs handled, calls booked. Reported in pipeline terms, not vanity metrics.
- Profile and positioning optimization. Your profiles get rewritten and maintained as conversion assets — headline, bio, pinned content, link strategy — tuned to turn profile views into conversations. That includes personal branding fundamentals and lead-capture hooks in your bio links.
X/Twitter
X/Twitter coverage is a $49/mo add-on on Authority Engine — disclosed plainly, no bundling tricks. It's included at no extra charge in Category King. If your buyers live on X, add it. If they don't, don't pay for it.
The machine, week by week
Week 1: kickoff within 48 hours of onboarding. Profiles optimized, content pillars set, approval workflow live. Your first interview happens this week; your first post is live within 7 days.
Weeks 2–4: the cadence locks in. Interview → drafts → your approval → daily publishing → engagement → inbox management. First pipeline report by the 3rd business day of the following month.
Months 2–3: compounding. In our experience working with founder-led practices, the first qualified conversations typically start in weeks 3–6, and the content library becomes a searchable body of your thinking — prospects arrive at calls already sold on your perspective.
The full week-by-week breakdown lives on the process page.
Who it's for
- Founder-led B2B coaches, consultants, and advisors with a working offer who want a full client-acquisition system, not a content vendor.
- Practices doing founder-led sales where the founder's perspective is the differentiator — the interview extracts exactly that.
- Teams of one to a few with no in-house marketing function and no desire to build one.
Who it's not for
- Founders only testing the channel — start with Presence or the pilot.
- Founders who want category dominance — that's Category King.
- Anyone who won't do the interview. Thirty minutes a week is the price of admission at every tier.
Setup, term, and the pilot
Setup is $900, one time: onboarding, profile rewrites, content pillar development, approval workflow, inbox triage rules, reporting baseline.
The term is three months initial, then month-to-month with 30 days' written notice. Support Mon–Fri 9am–6pm ET.
Most clients start with the 30-day paid pilot at $1,500, credited toward the retainer. The pilot runs the Authority Engine process for one month. There is no call guarantee. Social Signal removed its earlier call guarantee because it was unproven; instead you get the call-tracking dashboard — every call the system produces, reported in numbers, so you can judge it yourself.
Frequently asked questions
Why is Authority Engine the hero tier?
It's where the whole machine runs. Presence ($800/mo) proves the channel with a lighter cadence and no inbox management; Category King ($2,500/mo) adds maximum coverage including X/Twitter. Authority Engine is the complete system most practices need: weekly interview, daily publishing, engagement, DM management, and pipeline reporting — the full loop from your thinking to booked calls.
What are the actual SLAs on Authority Engine?
Kickoff within 48 hours of onboarding. First post live within 7 days. DM responses within 2 business hours, comment responses within 4 business hours, Monday–Friday 9am–6pm ET. Your monthly pipeline report lands by the 3rd business day. These are service commitments, not aspirations — they're how we hold ourselves accountable.
Do I have to write or post anything myself?
No. You show up for one 30-minute interview per week. We draft everything, you approve in a shared queue (most clients spend under an hour a week on approvals), and we publish, engage, and manage your inbox. The only thing we can't outsource is your thinking — that's what the interview extracts.
Is there a call guarantee?
No. There is no call guarantee — Social Signal removed its earlier guarantee because it was unproven. What you get instead is the call-tracking dashboard: every call the system produces, reported in numbers, so you can judge it yourself.
Can I add X/Twitter to Authority Engine?
Yes — $49 per month, disclosed plainly. X/Twitter coverage is included at no extra charge only in Category King ($2,500/mo). On Authority Engine it stays a simple add-on so the base retainer doesn't inflate for clients whose buyers aren't on X.
What happens after the 3-month initial term?
The retainer continues month-to-month with 30 days' written notice to cancel. No exit fees. By month three you'll have 12 weeks of content, an engaged audience, a managed inbox, and pipeline data — enough to make a clear-eyed renewal decision.
Who is Authority Engine NOT for?
Early-stage founders who only need to test the channel should start on Presence ($800/mo) or the $1,500 pilot. Founders who want maximum coverage — X/Twitter included, heavier volume, category-dominance positioning — belong on Category King. And if you won't do the weekly interview, no tier will work.

The 30-day Pilot is $1,500 — credited in full if you continue. There is no call guarantee — the call-tracking dashboard reports every call the system produces, in numbers (weekly 30-minute interview required; 5 pilots max at a time).
